Every busy mom I know worries about how to prepare fast and nutritious meals for her family. As a working mom I sometimes find there is little time for meal planning, preparation, cooking, and clean up afterward. A Lil' Butter is the place where moms can share recipes, tips, and techniques to get a healthy dinner on the table quickly. Doesn't that sound lovely!??
This week I contributed one of my all-time favorite summer time recipes, Watergate Salad. Kids (and husbands!) love this easy dish, and they can help make it too! Children grow in self-confidence as they learn to cook like grown-ups. The more they do themselves, including prep and clean up, the more they will learn. So this recipe is a fav of mind because it not only encourages an interactive family experience… it's yummy to boot! I hope the readers over at A Lil' Butter enjoy it too! *smile*
